2020 was full of unexpected situations that we couldn’t have imagined before. Although it was a difficult year for many, we hope it
brought you some successes and valuable lessons. Let’s summarize the year 2020 for 1Office.
In August, we launched our biggest project so far – my1Office. A platform that brings all our services under one roof. Now you can find all the correspondence in my1Office, create and send sales invoices, order services from there and find lots of useful information in the knowledge base. Of course, as all development projects, it didn’t go without minor setbacks. However, within one month, we already had over 1000 users that exceeded all our expectations. By now, there are almost 3500 users who have signed up to my1Office.
We definitely weren’t resting on laurels in 2020. As our main purpose is to make business administration easier for entrepreneurs, we made many new services available.
In Estonia, Latvia, and Finland, we started providing ID06 service. A service necessary for mandatory identification of the people who work on construction sites in Sweden.
Amazon FBA package was one of our most innovative new products in 2020, and it includes everything to start your business in Amazon UK or Germany. The package offers help with setting up a business in Estonia, applying for VAT in Germany or UK, and creating an Amazon account and fixed-priced accounting service for your company. After all this will be completed, you’re ready to start with the e-commerce business.
We also made our accounting services more flexible with the addition of a self-accounting solution. That makes starting a company with an accounting option very easy, as you’re able to send out invoices and keep track of your company’s accounting in the early stages.
Finally, based on the needs of our customers, we launched various new legal products in the UK. Now it is possible to order UK and EU trade mark registration, employment packages for a director and an employee of a UK company, transfer of shares service, company’s registers, and company dissolution.
Webinars, Collaborations and Articles
For most of 2020, no major events were allowed, but we still managed to organize and participate in many webinars and a few digital summits. Alltogether, we are happy that we held and took part in 16 webinars to offer information and guidance to entrepreneurs from all over the world.
We found new inspiring partners to bring more value to our customers. For example, it is easy to create an alternative banking solutions with the help of our partners. Last year we also partnered up with SafetyWing and collaborated with e-Residency in their digital summits and webinars.
We also offered educating material through a number of blog posts. The most popular blog post of 2020 was a full guide to Estonian taxes. Other topics that we wrote about included Estonian accounting, background search for Estonian companies, EORI number, selling companies shares, and more. Of course, we couldn’t also leave out topics about Covid-19, including different measures and support schemes to help companies survive during this difficult period. What Will 2021 Bring to 1Office?
Now it’s time to set focus on the new year. Of course, we are still planning to offer our clients as many useful blog posts, webinars and events as possible. But we also have some really big and challenging goals for this year.
My1Office will soon have an app version to manage your company easily from a smartphone, and also a translation feature right on the platform with a number of languages available.
In 2021, 1Office is also planning to expand its services to a couple of new countries, meaning you could start growing your business with our help even further. We will announce the exact countries in the future, so stay tuned to be the first to hear.
