2021 was a year of innovations for 1Office. After pulling back with some bigger plans during 2020 because of an unexpected situation with Covid-virus, it was finally time to carry out all those innovations and ideas that were on hold. Therefore, we launched quite a lot of new features for my1Office and came out with some new products.
There are also some really interesting numbers, facts, and tops from 2021 that we are excited to share, so let’s get going:
Home for your business – My1Office developments
About 1,5 years ago, we launched my1Office, a special platform-based home for everything that is connected to your business. Our solution is unique because it’s not a fully automated robot-like system. Our goal was to create a platform that brings together powerful automation and human touch – something that is necessary to serve our clients in the most personalized way.
So, what does that mean for you?
Well, most importantly, all the important services for entrepreneurs and digital nomads are brought conveniently under one roof. Starting from company formation services and ending with all the necessary business management services:

New user management system
As a business owner, you might need to give system access to different people that are related to your company, such as other employees, consultants, administrators, and so on. The year 2021 brought a new and very useful feature for that – a user management system.
Maybe you want to show your employees a specific part of my1Office, like invoices or posts, but restrict access to other areas, for example, prevent them from making any changes in your company’s data or financials. That’s how user management will help you – it allows you to appoint roles and apply restrictions whenever you want to give access to your company’s my1Office account, without compromising your company’s safety.
The user-management system also enables you to give access to admin or other board members so they can see the important accounting deadlines in the calendar and receive notifications. That ensures you will have more people keeping an eye on your company’s data so that no important deadlines will be missed to keep your company in good standing. The management system is available for all our clients who have created a my1Office account.
Mobile app
Another big change was launching our very own mobile app. Something that will give our good clients even more freedom. Freedom to start and manage everything not only online, but even just from your pocket. No need to have a computer nearby to access all your company’s information in a convenient way and to get peace of mind that if any unexpected circumstances happen that require your immediate attention, you can act right away.
Subscription-based company formation packages in Estonia
Not only did we innovate the my1Office platform that gives our existing customers many new options and opportunities, but we also made a big change in the Estonian company registration process for new customers. When before our services were based on one-time purchases and customers needed to pay for mandatory services (like virtual office and address service) in advance for a whole year, then now there are monthly subscription packages available.
Monthly packages are made to cover all the needs that a starting or a medium-sized company needs. From freelancers and digital nomads to traditional business owners with employees. Starting from basic virtual office services and finishing off with professional accounting and contract management services, these monthly packages are made to make life easy for all foreign entrepreneurs doing business in Estonia.
Four different packages come with different features, depending on what exactly the company needs. All packages come with monthly subscriptions (prices starting from 49 € per month) and are meant for e-Residents.
Starting package for Shopify sellers, OSS/IOSS registration, and legal products
Talking about new products, we were so happy to bring the Shopify starting package next to our very popular Amazon starting package that was launched 2 years ago. This unique package enables you to start distant selling through Shopify with your Estonian company.
Therefore, the package is available for anyone, no matter if you are physically located in the EU or not. It includes everything necessary for establishing a company in Estonia (company itself, accounting services, and virtual address services), VAT, IOSS/OSS registrations for the company, and even the Shopify account with a premium theme and e-shop domain for a year. It’s a perfect way for small and starting entrepreneurs to start their Shopify journey with background support from 1Office professionals.
Just to bring out some other services that we launched this year – we brought OSS/IOSS registrations to our clients and also came out with a number of new legal products in several countries. For example, we can now offer changing business information in the Estonian, Finnish, or Swedish Commercial Register, also share sales in Estonia, and Finland and subsidiary formation in Finland.

Now, to the most interesting part – let’s have a look at some of the facts from the year 2021.
Significant growth in my1Office users – 7000 ✔
It’s crazy to think that we launched the my1Office platform only in August 2020, and with this one and a half years, we have managed to grow immensely. Numbers speak for themselves, so let’s just announce that in December we passed the 7000 users mark. It means that there are already more than 7000 of you, our clients and our biggest fans who have shown their deep interest in our services.
How satisfied our clients are – NPS score same as Google ✔
In 2021 we asked our clients how satisfied they are with 1Office’s services by using a net promoter score (NPS) survey. NPS score can be from -100 to 100 accordingly, whereas an NPS score over 50 is considered very good.
We were happy to see that each year we have conducted the NPS survey, the score has increased every time. When in 2014 we started with an NPS score of +33, we have now made it to the score of +48 which we are very proud of. The best results (even over +60) came from questions regarding 1Office fulfilling their promises, making business simple, and keeping clients updated with all the important information. It was clear from the survey results that clients are valuing good customer service more than ever, as the top keywords mentioned describing 1Office were “service” and “support”.
The score of +48 ranks us to the same ballpark as many world-known brands like Google, Amazon, and Netflix.

Webinars, Events, and Collaborations
This year and its events were also very influenced by the Covid and circumstances it brought, therefore many of our events were still online. We had a possibility to introduce ourselves to Hungarian, Dutch, Danish, Balkan, US, and Russian entrepreneurs through webinar-based events.
That said, we were still very happy that there were a couple of events where we managed to go on-site and see people face-to-face – e-Residency event in Budapest and White Label World Expo in Frankfurt. Fingers crossed that next year there will be more possibilities to attend inspiring and useful events in person.
In conclusion
As you can see, we have had a great (and busy!) year. And don’t worry, we are not planning to slow down in the near future. There are even more plans for 2022 – under secrecy, we can tell you that some keywords describing our next year are new countries, banking solutions, and accounting options. Really, we are so excited and can’t wait to start bringing these new solutions to you.
