All foreign companies entering the Finnish construction market need to fill specific terms before a contract can be formed with the local main contractor. 1Office has created an all-inclusive package, including all the services you will need to start and maintain your activity in Finland.

The first payment for this package is 1515 + 420 = 1935 € and the recurring payment after the first year is 420 € / year.

The package includes tax registrations for a foreign company and the following services:

Legal address in the centre of Helsinki, yearly subscription

Every company registered in Finland needs to have a local legal address, which can be seen on the Central Commercial Register. This service comes with a sales invoices module (convenient system for creating and sending out invoices) to make it easy for new entrepreneurs to get their business activities started.

International tax and legal consultation for foreign contractors

Operating as a contractor in the construction field in Finland comes with rules that will apply to the company. 1Office helps companies understand the regulations and taxation applicable to your business.

VastuuGroup reliable partner application

We will apply for the the VastuuGroup Reliable Partner service that enables managing the obligations of the Contractor’s Obligations and Liability Act. The service retrieves, on your behalf, the data that is required by law and maintains this data always up to date.

Suomi.fi application

Suomi.fi application

We can help you with the submission of a Suomi.fi application. Suomi.fi credentials are needed to access all local authorities e.g. Tax Office and Kela.

Important information

  • In order to start a business in Finland, you have to apply for Finnish tax registrations.
  • Having a legal address is strongly recommended for foreign companies operating in Finland. The address will be shown in the public business registry and all the official letters will be sent to this address
  • Insurance and healthcare agreements will be formed between the client and service provider. The service provider will invoice the client directly. 1Office partners with Varma and IF for insurance and healthcare offers are requested from Mehiläinen and Terveystalo, unless it is agreed otherwise with the client.
  • The package includes the accounting starting fee. We will make a fixed accounting fee offer for your company that is invoiced monthly. Every foreign company registered in Finland has to submit an annual tax declaration. If a company has monthly transactions, invoices and VAT-number, it’s also mandatory to submit monthly declarations.
  • The consultation included in the package is ideal for limited liability companies registered in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
  • 1Office is able to provide the following additional services for an extra fee depending on the exact situation of the client: Posted workers notification to Regional State Administrative Agency, applying for a Finnish tax number for the employees, Employee Leasing notice to tax office, and other documentation and applications upon agreement.
