A trade mark is an important part of running a successful business as it allows you to own the exclusive rights to sell your goods or services under a specific name. This ensures that no-one can copy your brand and you will have a right to stop anyone from using your trade mark without your consent.

Important information:

• All applicants must pay a filing fee of 850 € to the European Union Intellectual Property Office (an additional 50€ for second class and 150€ for every additional class starting from the third class).
• The trade mark will last 10 years and can be renewed indefinitely.
• The registration of a trade mark will take approximately 4 months.
