Suomi.fi hakemus

1Office provides a service to apply for Suomi.fi credentials. Previously, as a private person and a company representative, you were able to log in to e.g Tax Office omavero.fi portal via Finnish bank credentials or katso-credentials.

Katso services are ending on 30 April 2021. From 1 May 2021, Katso credentials or authorization given by Katso are no longer valid. Therefore, the company representative must apply for Suomi.fi unless the person has personal Finnish bank user credentials.
If the person does not have the Finnish bank user credentials, he/she must apply for Suomi.fi user. Once the user has been created, you must send a signed paper application form with an apostille passport copy to DVV. The paper application is submitted to link the company representative with the company. Otherwise, the company representative does not have valid authorization to access company information or give authorization to others.

For example, from 1 May 2021 your accountant cannot submit tax declarations or declare employees salaries without having the new authorization in use. Currently, the processing period is long, and we highly recommend starting the process immediately.
