Description

All Lithuanian businesses in the public and private sectors are required to comply with the EU Pay Transparency Directive (Directive (EU) 2023/970), also known as the DAS Directive, starting from 7 June 2026.ย

The DAS Directive strengthens the principle of equal pay for equal work or work of equal value between men and women. It introduces mandatory pay transparency measures, objective pay-setting rules, and enforcement mechanisms to reduce the gender pay gap across the EU. Lithuania is transposing it through amendments to the Labour Code, with most provisions entering into force on or around 6โ€“7 June 2026.

This new directive applies to all employers, regardless of size and covers all workers with an employment contract (part-time, fixed-term, and certain other arrangements).ย

About the service:

  • Prior Compliance Questionnaire – We start with a detailed questionnaire to map your existing pay structures, job categories, and current practices against DAS Directive requirements.
  • Full DAS Document Handling – Professional preparation, review, and management of all required documentation.ย
