Under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, Companies House is introducing mandatory identity verification for anyone involved in setting up or running a UK company, including directors, people with significant control (PSCs), and company filing agents.
From 2025, everyone must verify their identity either:
Through their GOV.UK One Login, or
Via a registered Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) such as 1Office Group Ltd.
